A 3-week intensive classroom program teaches core character competencies necessary for those returning to the workforce. R.E.N.E.W. (Restore.Equip.Navigate.Empower.Work) provides the tools for participants to develop a new, healthy personal identify, learn forgiveness and reconciliation, positive thinking patterns, personal responsibility and traditional job preparation.
R.E.N.E.W. is a 70×7 Muskegon collaborative work with Love INC of Muskegon County and the Jobs for Life employment preparation curricula.
We provide resume’ preparation and interviewing skills, but we critically include life and interpersonal skills training – those things that can ‘make or break’ successful, sustainable work experience.
70×7 Muskegon values collaboratives that place our graduates in employment positions with growth potential. The reality is that most people returning from incarceration have ongoing addiction issues. Those, in addition to a felony record, mean significant work challenges. We entertain partnerships with an expanding number of felony-friendly employers, and we have a unique, results-focused relationship with Staffing, Inc. (hyperlinked) as an IMPACT partner in Muskegon County.
